Retention comes from letting students know that their Senior year and tech school will get them a good job. Also, I would hope there may be virtual field trips. Students could go on a virtual tour of a IT facility such as a hospital, bank, etc., and discover the wealth of IT jobs.

Aside from letting the curriculum “speak” for itself, my main focus is to help students be successful in completing the course in order to complete the dual credit requirement for college credit. The college credit is a really good incentive to help retain students.
